I thought I'd share with you a little more about us!
My Hubby, Jeff & I have been married for 20 years. We have 3 kids. Our oldest daughter is 10. We started homeschooling her when she was a preschooler. She has a severe peanut & tree nut allergy which is one of the reasons we decided to homeschool her. Our boy is 7. Our youngest daughter is 5.
We decided to homeschool for several reasons. We wanted to give our kids an education that was suited for them & their learning styles. We wanted them to succeed in school. We felt we could help them do that by teaching them at home. We also wanted to give them a godly world view which is something they could not get in public school.
We love the flexibility of homeschooling. We are night owls here & with homeschooling we can start school later in the day. Also, my hubby travels a lot for work. Because we homeschool, we can pack up & go with him. We do school in hotels. We have gotten to visit places we otherwise would not be able to. We've had some awesome field trips.
